Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Description: The Center for Young Musicians is a highly-regarded, 18-year old private music school with locations in Pittsburgh, Wexford and Sewickley.
Duties:
- Teach students privately and in small ensembles.
- Perform occasionally for the school and in the community.
- This position provides an opportunity to develop and teach classes in music literacy and early childhood music.
Qualifications:
- Teaching experience required.
- A Master of Music is preferred.
- Preference is given to candidates with a pedagogy background or who have registered at least one Suzuki book with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
Salary: Salary commensurate with experience. Faculty meetings, recitals and special events are also paid. Company benefits, including health, life and disability, and a company retirement plan, are available.
